When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness, turning from a student into a vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father, Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Rimor was when Dexter (2006) first aired. It was followed by Dexter: Resurrection (2025).
What can I say?
After watching the first episode of the Dexter prequel, I’m just blown away. Despite the fact that a lot of time has passed since the release of the original, the series feels incredibly authentic. From the opening title to the younger versions of the characters, their mannerisms and personalities are perfect.
I liked it
It’s an exact recreation of the essence of the original and will hopefully serve as a strong foundation for Dexter: Resurrections. Fans of the series are in for a treat! If you’re a movie buff like I am, you’ll appreciate the time and effort that Clyde Phillips and everyone else put into making this happen.
