Plot
When a loyal police dog and his human owner, a cop, are injured on the job together, a harebrained but life-saving operation reunites the two and Dog Man is born. Dog Man is sworn to protect and serve – and to retrieve, sit and turn. As Dog Man embraces his new identity and tries to impress his boss (Lil Rel Howery, Get Out, Free Guy), he must thwart the rather evil plans of feline supervillain Petey the Cat (Pete Davidson; Saturday Night Live, The King of Staten Iceland). Petey’s latest plan is to clone himself and create the kitten Lil Petey to double his ability to commit crimes. Things get complicated, however, when Lil Petey develops an unexpected bond with Dog Man. When Lil Petey falls into the clutches of a common enemy, Dog Man and Petey reluctantly team up in an action-packed race against time to save the young kitten, discovering the power of family (and kitties!) to bring even the most hostile of enemies together.
