Four misfits are suddenly swept through a mysterious portal into a strange, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they’ll have to master this world as they embark on a quest with an unexpected and skilled craftsman. This film was originally set to be directed by Shawn Levy, but he dropped out of the project after disagreements with the Minecraft developers, as they thought his idea didn’t fit with the game.
